I'm Polish and I've been to Gdańsk a number of times over the course of the last 10 years. When I was younger and have seen and experienced less, I was very impressed by the old town. What a nice city! I stayed two weeks here and have been amazed by how colorful and beautiful the center is. People can sometimes be quite cold and unkind - however I also met very nice people here and had a lot of fun going out. I will surely be back and recommend it to anyone. 2 weeks is perfect, I would have probably got bored afterwards as the city is quite small.

Málaga is great. I don't agree on the comment that says it is not used to digital nomads, the person hasn't made a proper research. There are a lot of hostels, amazing night life, people are very cool and respectful, young people know English, and it has lots of COWORKING areas, even in banks. But not all of this is only in the center of the city, you need to discover also Costa del Sol, with places like Benalmádena, Fuengirola and Marbella, where is full of digital nomads that come the area b

I loved this city! We stayed for one week, but could easily stay longer. What I love about this city is its beauty, walk ability and convenience to other places such as Germany, Switzerland and other parts of France, just to name a few. It’s a big, little city. It has an airport as well, for when you want to go further. The cost for groceries were not any different than other parts of France or Germany. All in, Austin is a good city. We live in Hill Country now so we're a bit removed. But it's beautiful area once you get away from the highways. A good tech scene. Not too expensive (~$2100 for a nice 2 bedroom apt) for the U.S. Has wineries and breweries galore. Not a great place if you are a recovering alcoholic (!). Cons: extremely hot in the summer; reaches 110 F (43.3 C) in summer afternoons from June - September. Not very diverse. Highways are loud and obnoxious.

Just to echo the last two reviews - these stats are super misleading. This year I've worked out of a number of different towns and cities in Mexico, Central & South America, and Medellin by far had the best internet. I was also a woman traveling alone and not once did I feel in danger, just don't go out clubbing alone or something insane that would make you a target in any city.
