I stayed here for 6 months and I absolutely love Mexico City. The life is comfortable if you stay in the bubbles, namely Roma Norte, Condesa and Polanco, but the living cost has increased 30% since last year, due to the inflation and skyrocketing mexican pesos. Mexican people are so friendly and I never had any safety issues. Definitely will be back in the future.

Tokyo has so much to offer and so much to do. It is easily overwhelming. Whereas I usually take my first week to explore a place Tokyo’s sights just kept on going. I remember ending up in a hidden cocktail bar, a mexican rooftop party with 1 meter margaritas, spending a whole day going only to French places(?), visiting a store that only imported 2nd hand hiphop apparel, and throughout it all the best michelin star ramen. I stayed in Poblenou, which is a really chill upcoming area outside of the tourism of Barcelona. Really enjoyed it. Very tranquil. People were relatively friendly compared to most in Europe and there was lots of nice food and coffee places. Also pretty okay gyms. Really enjoyed Barcelona this time! Just make sure you stay outside the tourist areas.

I've been hanging out in Berlin on and off for 30 years. It is very safe for women. It is much friendlier than it used to be. There are loads of vegan restaurants now. The nightlife and specially jazz clubs are amazing! I have an excellent apartment to rent out in Wedding - which used to have a boring reputation but now is very cool.

It is a very woke town, also, loads of yogis whit spiritual businesses that wants to sell you some magic "technique" to improve your life, again if you are not a woke person, this place is not for you. Don't think is a tropical place because it is not, it is often windy and winter is wet and cold. Also, it is not a beginner surf place, they're a much better places to learn the sport in Portugal

I came to Las Palmas Gran Canaria two years ago as a digital nomad and now have my home base there. Occasionally I still travel, especially during the summer because the digital nomad community is less active during that time and it is too hot for me personally. Great vibe in Corralejo - awesome coworking space. You can get around by walking or they have scooters to rent. I recommend getting a car as it allows you to explore. Excited to go back - in Corralejo they have everything from Yoga spots, kitesurf, skate surf, a callisthenics gym, and good food! It's a small town but a great vibe - lots of cool people living there.

Madeira has no security at this time. There are more and more delinquents and homeless people on the streets and the cost of living for Madeirans has increased very aggressively and the quality of service for tourists has ceased to exist. All this local hosting and digital nomads is just a phase. Seaweed - Summer is seaweed season and it stinks which ruins the awesome beaches. Town center is very hip and trendy now and prices are going up. My tip, winter is best, the weather in summer is scorching. Oh, and find a place with AC, you'll need it

Boring :-( Here for 2.5 months in summer. Puerto was supposed to be a nomad city, but I can't seem to meet them. Just 1-2 meetups that only 5+ people come to. A lot of lower middle class tourists. Santa Cruz has more to offer. La Laguna is nice for a day trip, but kinda dead too. Yes, there's beautiful nature and hikes, but people/community/city-wise not impressed at all.

Touristy circus of a place. Everyone is trying to rip you off... even as fluent Spanish speaker. Check out PV or anywhere west coast instead.

All in, Austin is a good city. We live in Hill Country now so we're a bit removed. But it's beautiful area once you get away from the highways. A good tech scene. Not too expensive (~$2100 for a nice 2 bedroom apt) for the U.S. Has wineries and breweries galore. Not a great place if you are a recovering alcoholic (!). Cons: extremely hot in the summer; reaches 110 F (43.3 C) in summer afternoons from June - September. Not very diverse. Highways are loud and obnoxious.

Tampa is my “home base” I return to, and I love it! Only drawback - like most other American cities the cost of living is high. Clearwater Beach was rated #1 beach in the US multiple years in a row by TripAdvisor, and for good reason. The sunsets are spectacular, water warm as bath water the majority of the year, and sand so soft and fine it’s like corn starch. Great sports town if you like sports, with pro teams in the NHL. MLB, and NFL that consistently perform well. Skyline is beautiful

I guess if you're a nomad this doesn't matter much, but the long-term job pickings here are slim and among the most underpaid for a US city. There seems to be a tacit rent floor that means you won't find a good deal on housing. A lot of people don't seem very invested in their interpersonal relationships here since their ties to the area are often transient.

It's a safe area of Mexico, and also even the people who try to sell you crap, 'vendors' is less aggressive here. I have done about 2.5 months total in PV (two separate trips). Airbnbs are plentiful near the centro and december 5, more expensive in the romantic zone and even more expensive in Sayulita. But central PV is pretty cheap, even inland from Hotel Zone is nice and cheap. Roads and walkways are narrow and horrible. Internet is OK. If you stay in PV central, the beach isn't so great for s

Barbados is still the safest Caribbean island. Expensive yes but value for money. If you want low quality go elsewhere. The vibe is island living so don’t expect everything speedily. People are friendly, well dressed and well educated. It cannot be beat.
