This city is not for everyone, if you like shopping malls and big crowded cities it is for you. It may be cheap but if you want to live in a good location with swimming pool, go to nice rooftops and restaurants, use taxis then it is similar cost to western countries. In many areas there are no sidewalks, big and dangerous traffic all the time, pollution, taxis do not want to go with meter, it can get really hot. Definitely try to live by the metro. The island is beautiful. Many tourists, especially for overrated Full Moon Party that elevates prices a lot. Roads are in good condition, you would need a scooter to get around, tourists drive very bad and irresponsibly. Wear a helmet! It is not a computer game, do not let the paradise island delude you, there are many accidents. A few places to work from. To get here you need to fly to Samui or Surat Thani and then take a ferry. Can’t recommend Ubud. It’s just the same overdeveloped and overpriced mentally isolated tourist trap that is Canggu, just a bit worse. If you have never been anywhere else, it might be okay for 2 weeks, but to any seasoned traveller it’s a the type of place you dread.

Dahab is a very chill place, if you are into scuba diving, free diving, or want to learn that is the place, cause of the beatiful sea life and corals reef. People are very friendly, looks safe for women, lot of restaurants and cafes by the bay. Internet is not so good, better find a place with some decent internet and also mandatory to have a 4G simcard as backup, because is not so stable. I stayed 1 month and would go back again.

Summers in Tallinn are very pleasant (if not the best, tbh). There is no need for a car or a bus to move from one point to another in the city center. Kyiv is a seriously not a good place for nomads to stay in. People don't speak english and are not friendly to foreigners at all, either you're white, asian, black, arab, latino, whatever. Food isn't really good specially when it comes to delivery, expensive and tasteless. The metro is cheap which is a good thing, and there is a nice architecture and places to go to.
