Spent a few days here with family. Was lucky enough to receive free hotel accommodationโฆ and free breakfast. Unheard of for me!! I happened to be there during the heat wave (so the Acropolis was closed) but had many adventures around the city. This ancient place must be visited by all!! |

Got the train from Madrid to Bilbao. Was a relatively easy ride with amazing views. More expensive than a typical train ticket in Italy, but still, fairly well priced. Wish I got to stay in Bilbao for more than one night. It was so cute and reminded me of Florence. |

Madrid was AMAZING. The people are so friendly and hospitable. I had two good friends of mine show me around the city the entire week! (Thanks Natalie and Alejandro). The El Rastro Flea Market is a MUST GO TO if youโre in Madrid on a Sunday. Be warned though, mid-summer Madrid is HOT AS BALLS. |

The food here was SO CHEAP and in wide variety. After a month in Italy, it felt good to have something other than a croissant and cafรฉ espresso for brekkie. The architecture of the buildings were unreal. Especially the churches and monasteries. The people were less friendly to tourists than in Italyโฆ and you often needed to have cash on you. Many places only accept a local bank card (so not visa, Mastercard, Amex or American Express). However, if you do some research, youโll find the places that accept them. |

Finished off in Italy with Milan. The Armani and Prada museums were really cool, however, itโs definitely my least favorite place Iโve been to in Italy. I thought it was difficult to get around, the people less friendly and the city relatively ugly compared to the rest of the country. Soz but itโs true. |

We stayed right next to the Vatican. Safe to say that we were drinking on the patio in close proximity to many many nuns. The colosseum, fountain de Trevi, Roman Forum and other sites were epic. When in Rome was definitely our theme. We did whatever came up. Ofc during this time I was shooting a lot of content for my YouTube channel (that I still havenโt freakinโ uploaded). |

The Sights, the Sounds, the Scentsโฆ Bangkok Is Beautiful Chaos And A City Of Contrasts!!! You have here: - modern shopping centers & traditional markets - michelin star restaurants & street food - sky trains & tuktuks - skyscrapers & temples - nightlife & culture In my opinion, there is no other city in the world that offers so much diversity. In addition, life there is very cheap compared to other big cities in the world. You can get apartments with a rooftop pool, gym and co-working

One of the best cities in Europe. Though location makes a big difference in Istanbul. Besikatas, Niลantaลฤฑ, and Karakoy are parts that I enjoyed. They are safe and have nice vibe and energy. Big city, but not too hectic. I've met a lot of friendly Turkish people there and had good conversations. The food is good and relatively cheap. Outside of the good areas you will find lots of scams, people will try you everyday. Though its not violent, you can always just walk away.

Stayed for 2 weeks after almost a year n a half in LatAm. Beautiful city; great food options- especially for Asian food lovers. Plenty of authentic Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese options for about 50% of what you would pay in a Western city. Decent hostels will cost $11-$15 weekdays and between $18-$30 on weekends.... Good internet; beautiful architecture and people but it is true Hungarians can be very cold at times. Overall a good stay with many destinations just a quick and cheap flight/tr

Lived in Prague for 8 years. It's a beautiful international European city. Never learned Czech, but was fine. Almost all cafes and restaurants have English menus. Superb food delivery apps (Wolt is the best). All the food you can imagine. Vietnamese food is world-class because of the huge Vietnamese population. If you want hipster bars and cafes, there's plenty of that. If you want old-world-charm there's plenty of that. If you want posh luxury there's some of Europes best restaurants and cockta

I've lived here for a year as a solo female expat over 50 (from the US) and I love it more and more every day. There are always events and things to do. I stayed here for 6 months and I absolutely love Mexico City. The life is comfortable if you stay in the bubbles, namely Roma Norte, Condesa and Polanco, but the living cost has increased 30% since last year, due to the inflation and skyrocketing mexican pesos. Mexican people are so friendly and I never had any safety issues. Definitely will be back in the future.

Tokyo has so much to offer and so much to do. It is easily overwhelming. Whereas I usually take my first week to explore a place Tokyoโs sights just kept on going. I remember ending up in a hidden cocktail bar, a mexican rooftop party with 1 meter margaritas, spending a whole day going only to French places(?), visiting a store that only imported 2nd hand hiphop apparel, and throughout it all the best michelin star ramen. It just seemed endless, completely unrelated and incredibly fun. Six wee

Very nice city, but as everyone says, a bit boring after awhile. It's comfortable and feels like the suburbs, with conveniences that you don't always find in SE Asian countries. Luxury shopping malls, excellent hospitals, and infrastructure, are all things that are not as common in other SE Asian countries, (although Bangkok, TH, has good malls and hospitals). KLCC is safe, from a solo female traveler, if you're careful. I stayed in the KLCC area and was advised by other KL nomads, to stay ins
