Which coworking spaces are open 24/7?

by @yako |  | 13 comments

Does anyone know of any coworking space open 24hs somewhere around the world? Sometimes because of my line of work I need to be awake when everyone is sleeping on the country I am in (but I know I am not the only one!). It would be amazing to share that time at a coworking space with others who like to work at night or who have to be awake. Does anyone know of any coworking space open 24hs somewhere in the world?

Would you like to feature in my digital nomad documentary?

by @youjindo |  | 26 comments

Hi

I am making a documentary on digital nomads, and just launched my website with the trailer recently: http://digitalnomaddocumentary.com

I am collecting stories of current nomads and how they became it. Please share your short video clip and letโ€™s spread out your story! : https://youjindo.typeform.com/to/JcqDhy
This will also be part of the documentary, and may help to show people the ups and downs of it too.

Right now is a very special time as the digital nomad and remote work movement is exploding, and itโ€™s one of the most interesting social developments of the 21st century. Millions of lives will literally be changed in the next decade by this. So I want to document whatโ€™s happening RIGHT NOW!!

I am working on this project independently and I am currently crowdfunding it through my site. If youโ€™d like to help out, donations are very appreciated, and backers will be keep updated on the progress and receive rewards too.

Ideas, suggestions on topics, places, events, and people who you think should be featured in it are more than welcome too!

Thanks

Don't believe the prices on here for an apartment. 686 usd/month refers to an apartment in a high class condo, right in the city centre and seconds away from the BTS(train station). Just remember this, people working at supermarkets make 2 usd/per hour. If you want to live like a local, then you can save a lot of money. If you don't mind a 5-10 minute walk from the BTS, then you can easily get a one bedroom apartment for 300 USD per month, in a high class condo, plus with free golf cart ser

Chiang Mai used to be N.1 for the digital nomad life. It is still great and you can find really cheap apartments (300-400$) and restaurants (2-3$ for a main). Wouldn't recommend staying there during the burning season. The best area is Nimman, but it's also the most expensive. You can stay in the old city that's very nice but that gets noisy during the weekend for the night markets. Last but not least, very safe city. All in all would go back in a heartbeat.
