Can you afford insane rents? Good for you. But bear in mind that you're taking someone else's home. Portuguese people can't live in Lisbon anymore due to insane rents!

Very dirty, graffiti everywhere, people offering drugs around the train station and nightlife areas, plenty of urban blight. All that being said Porto has some of the most beautiful architecture in the world, is extremely lively, and pretty affordable. If you're looking for a longer stay I recommend staying in a more residential area like that to the east.

I liked Ho Chi Minh City a lot. It has all of the convivences one could expect from the city except for an MRT system which as of September 2022, they are in the middle of building one anyway. Things are affordable although I have noticed a tamer street food scene compared to other places in Vietnam like Hanoi. Seems to be making more room for higher end dining but affordability is still easy. HCMC without a doubt has some great nightlife, so party animals are going to be very happy here. I am s

I've been hanging out in Berlin on and off for 30 years. It is very safe for women. It is much friendlier than it used to be. There are loads of vegan restaurants now. The nightlife and specially jazz clubs are amazing! I have an excellent apartment to rent out in Wedding - which used to have a boring reputation but now is very cool.

Stayed for 2 weeks after almost a year n a half in LatAm. Beautiful city; great food options- especially for Asian food lovers. Plenty of authentic Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese options for about 50% of what you would pay in a Western city. Decent hostels will cost $11-$15 weekdays and between $18-$30 on weekends.... Good internet; beautiful architecture and people but it is true Hungarians can be very cold at times. Overall a good stay with many destinations just a quick and cheap flight/tr

Seoul has many good things in every perspective. Safety! IT infra! Food! many shops until night, Super fast Delivery, Kind and fast service, Hip places opens in every minute, Kind & Educated people(Education in Seoul is crazy, almost social issue), and even nature everywhere(huge river, mountains are in the city, you can easily find mountains to climb)

How did you guys classified Penge as rich? It is one of the worst neighbourhood I have ever been in London, the ammount of people I know that have been robbed there is appalling.

I visited Prague on more than one occasion and tried something new each time. I really wanted to enjoy it, but unfortunately it turned out to be one of my least favourite cities. Perhaps it was just me, but there was an overwhelming sense of distrust and dislike towards foreigners, you have to try pretty hard to blend in if you want to experience the life of a local & avoid the tourism. I met some wonderful people and and thereโs some cool communities to be part of, but another extended stay

Best cafes I have seen in my 35 years of traveling. It is not unusual for coffee to be grown, roasted, and poured locally by people who grew up dreaming of nothing other than coffee. The cafes range from mid-century modern dreamscapes to open bamboo spaces. There is something for everyone. Great cycling, too. The big downside is air quality.

Hanoi feels more like a "large village" than a proper city. It's also what I call "unapologetically Vietnamese" given the way most places and shops are occupied and used by locals. English penetration isn't bad, but maybe because I speak Vietnamese I never had much of a problem in Hanoi. Prices for coffee, juice, smoothies, and food are insanely affordable. I wouldn't say the locals are "friendly to a fault" and mostly have left me alone. Yes, the old town city center is dirty, garbage on the

Went there for a few days at the beginning of October. The weather was perfect for going to the beach with warm water. It has great restaurants and during that time it wasn't that crowded as it looks like their vacation spot for summer. A few days are enough to enjoy the whole city.

The worst. Everyone in Manila is controlled like Rats in a cage. I rented an Airbnb and a girl I met couldn't go swimming in the pool because she wasn't a "registered guest." The entire city stinks, the bathrooms in the nicest buildings in Makati stink, and it's awful. The rich treat the poor like dirt and take advantage of them on every opportunity. I will never visit it again. Horrible place. If you like a place where the rich treat the poor like dirt and keep them separated from them with big

Semiyak was my refuge from the crazy traffic, massive western crowds, mosquito attacks, and inflated prices of Canggu. Seminyak is not 'Balifornia' (Canguu), some will like it for that reason alone. Traffic can get clogged in Seminyak but it's still far better than Canggu. Seminyak is just as commercialized as Canggu, but in a different way. If you're familiar with NY, Canggu has east village or lower east side vibes, while Seminyak is more soho. Of course neither comes close to the actual N

Definitely check out The Key (on near Zhong Xiao Dun Hua station) if living here for more than a month. Cafe + Gym + Bar all in one, monthly membership about $50 USD. English-friendly, no contracts. Made my 3 month stay here immensely better with fast wifi in the cafe and it's a great feeling to be able to work out immediately after working.
