Stayed for 2 weeks after almost a year n a half in LatAm. Beautiful city; great food options- especially for Asian food lovers. Lived in Prague for 8 years. It's a beautiful international European city. Never learned Czech, but was fine. Almost all cafes and restaurants have English menus. Superb food delivery apps (Wolt is the best). All the food you can imagine. Vietnamese food is world-class because of the huge Vietnamese population. I stayed in Poblenou, which is a really chill upcoming area outside of the tourism of Barcelona. Really enjoyed it. Very tranquil. People were relatively friendly compared to most in Europe and there was lots of nice food and coffee places. Also pretty okay gyms. Really enjoyed Barcelona this time! Just make sure you stay outside the tourist areas.

I've been hanging out in Berlin on and off for 30 years. It is very safe for women. It is much friendlier than it used to be. There are loads of vegan restaurants now. The nightlife and specially jazz clubs are amazing! I have an excellent apartment to rent out in Wedding - which used to have a boring reputation but now is very cool.

A top city. Everything works, beautiful greenery (hehe), cycling everywhere, happy people, great nightlife... Lots to love about. For nomads? Not a chance. Price of housing is outrageous, and the city is expensive af. They charge you 4.5-5 eur for a capuccino, completely shameless. An hour of public transport is 3 euros. I could go on and on. I'd love to live there, but it's not worth it.

Liked Madrid,but its a bit dangerous in the evening and way to expensive! people can be really nice when they meet you but after a while you realize all it's not what it seems. And Barcelona is exactly the same.

I quite liked Zagreb. People are fairly warm, and it's charmingly laid out. Lots of good cafes and restaurants, and the center is pretty walkable. As someone else said there are the commie block vibes, but those are in more peripheral neighborhoods. I felt it was safe, and had no issues getting around by tram mostly. Beautiful old town and waterfront, but as soon as you leave them it becomes a post-Communist dump. I've had very good internet in airbnbs, and it's quite affordable if you live like a local.

I live in Timisoara since 2 years. It's a good place , very cheep and quiet. during summer this year a lot of festivals and cultural events. I love the weither, cold in winter but not so munch just under zero degré like minus 5 maybe 1 week or two, and very hot in July. A lot of sun anyway all the year. The food is excellent . One of the best cities in Europe. Though location makes a big difference in Istanbul. Besikatas, Nişantaşı, and Karakoy are parts that I enjoyed. They are safe and have nice vibe and energy. Big city, but not too hectic. I've met a lot of friendly Turkish people there and had good conversations. The food is good and relatively cheap. Outside of the good areas you will find lots of scams, people will try you everyday. Though its not violent, you can always just walk away.

I lived in Kraków for 13 years. Before I was nomad I worked in Kraków from office, studied here. I see lots of reviews mention Stare Miasto. Getting around by scooter is an absolute necessity on Ko Pha Ngan - it’s just not viable to walk or take taxis everywhere. I came to Las Palmas Gran Canaria two years ago as a digital nomad and now have my home base there. Visited in February of 2019, the week before Carnival. Great time to visit as there were hardly any tourists and only a few other travelers. Downside is a lot of the restaurants aren't open and some tours are shut down. Upside is you get to live like a local in a insanely touristy town 10 months of the year. Brasov is absolutely beautiful. Not a ton to do socially, and certainly no big nomad community. But the food is amazing, cost of living is cheap, and the parks and mountains surrounding you make it worth visiting! You can literally hike a gorgeous mountain walking about 5 minutes south of the old city center. It's also the most central location to visit nearby castles and national parks. You can buy tickets online and the trains are easy to navigate to get to places like Peles Castle in an hour
