I cannot help but agree with the review from the person before me. I'm finishing my 3 weeks trip here, and something feels off. Like that person put it rightly, everything is for sale, and nothing has value. There is no soul to this city and its people, locals or otherwise. Something is wrong here.

Stayed for 2 weeks after almost a year n a half in LatAm. Beautiful city; great food options- especially for Asian food lovers. Plenty of authentic Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese options for about 50% of what you would pay in a Western city. Decent hostels will cost $11-$15 weekdays and between $18-$30 on weekends.... Good internet; beautiful architecture and people but it is true Hungarians can be very cold at times. Overall a good stay with many destinations just a quick and cheap flight/tr

Like everywhere, Singapore has pros and cons. // Pros: // Everything works very well, it's clean, you can use the trains and transport system with a bank card, Grab taxis are efficient and safe, the airport is amazing // Everyone speaks English // Population seems well educated and cosmopolitan // There are lots of parks and green spaces. // Cons: // It's very expensive. For what you get it feels overpriced compared to most Western countries for example. // It's hot and very, very humid. Unti

Good: - Great local food - Portuguese people are amazingly friendly - Vibrant DN community. It's like the city has been overtaken by remote workers. You will see everyone working on their laptop everywhere you go. - Amazing views whenever you want; you can just get a beer and climb to one of the viewpoints to see the sunset. Easy and magical. - Super cheap Ubers, easy subway Bad: - Housing prices. I'm not kidding, it's the worst I've ever seen. Ultra overpriced. I guess that's the problem when

I visited Prague on more than one occasion and tried something new each time. I really wanted to enjoy it, but unfortunately it turned out to be one of my least favourite cities. Perhaps it was just me, but there was an overwhelming sense of distrust and dislike towards foreigners, you have to try pretty hard to blend in if you want to experience the life of a local & avoid the tourism. I met some wonderful people and and thereโs some cool communities to be part of, but another extended stay

Berlin is overall a great city to be. Food is cheap and everywhere, easy to go out and have fun/meet for business. Rent has crept up but still far better value than where I came from. Internet: 36 EUR/month get me 450/40 mbps (cable -> DOCSIS 3.0) Public transport is 2.70 EUR/ticket. No woman I know has said they felt unsafe. Some really odd, xenophobic sounding comments on here. Biggest downsides IMO: service quality at restaurants - not that people are rude, but they don't seem to particular

Pros: * Very clean - lots of hand sanitisation places and people wear masks + streets are clean * Great, cheap public transport * Very beautiful city and good parks * Pretty good Italian and asian food Cons: * Coffee shops seem to have mostly gone and been replaced with lots of Starbucks and other chains. * Food / drinks is very expensive in most parts - Local beer is quite cheap though * Barely any night life to speak of - everything closes at 11pm Other Info: COVID restrictions are very stri

I've lived in New York City - Brooklyn - for over 20 years. For visiting tourists, the best neighborhood to stay in is NOT Bushwick. Park Slope, Prospect Heights, Ft. Green or Brooklyn Heights is preferable. Plenty of good transportation in those areas - subway, buses or Uber. Easy access to beaches in Long Island and New Jersey. There's plenty to do in NYC. Great restaurants, Broadway plays (!), and in the summer you frequently can catch a free concert.

A great place to be. Excellent price/quality ratio. You can easily find everything needed to work: coworking, sim (you can eg use Airalo). There is a plenty of things to do in the city and around it. Food is dirt cheap and delicious. It can be trashy and sometimes touristy but that didn't cause problems for me.

It is an OK place for staying for a few months, however after a few months, you have seen everything and realize the place is just a small town with a few things to do but not that many. Restaurants are great and stuff but besides that not much going on.

Amazing city and underrated so far. But it'll become very popular at some point so take a chance to visit now. Amazing people, great and unique food, incredible nature, one f the biggest visa permits (365 days). On top of that you can open the company and pay 1% income tax as a freelancer.

An interesting place which has a decent Russian-speaking community from post-Soviet republics. Pros: - quite affordable - proximity to the sea/beach (plenty of condos 2-4 mins walking distance) - Fiber Internet (50mbps is easy to get) Cons: - limited food options (Turkish cuisine) - really slow at times (might be a pro for some) - no coworking spaces

Soooo underrated city, it's not so calm at least the old town with all those bars competing to see which one plays the loudest music and in general the crazy traffic and that cars burnouts at 3am. But aside of that it's a wonderful city, with lot of things to do, lot's of places to go and very affordable prices. I was there for 3 weeks in July and surprisingly it's warmer than Barcelona and safer, and airbnb prices are really good. I enjoyed trying food and walking the city, I like to work from

You can still find 1 bedroom apartments near the centre for 350 euro. The city centre is great, it is almost devoid of shops and is almost all bars and restaurants. Great for having a great night out. The food seems to be between 5 to 10 euros but is of excellent quality. So far I have not been disappointed on the food front. I have been making Tiisoara my DN home base since this summer and have been finding quite a few others are doing the same. Having an airport close by and being connected to
