I've been hanging out in Berlin on and off for 30 years. It is very safe for women. It is much friendlier than it used to be. There are loads of vegan restaurants now. Lima was fantastic. food was amazing and incredibly inexpensive. $3 lunches, $25 fine dinner restaurants. I had 100+mbs internet in the Airbnb. There's no reason to live in this city. I spent a year here. The weather is not even a bit nicer compared to central-eastern Europe. Maybe when it's -4 degrees in Budapest, it's +1 in Barcelona. That's just as cold. And the insulation in apartments is practically non-existent, as well as AC and heating. I've been in Phuket for about a month now. Most of that time I've spent in Ka Ron and Kata beach area, but also have been to Chalong, Pa Tong, Rawai, and Kathu. What an amazing city, the vibe of the city will pull you into the present moment. And I found it hard to be very productive as there was always cool things going on everywhere. Safety is a concern. For longer stays I think Barra de tijuca is good, but for a month or shorter it's best to stay in copacabana, ipanema and leblon. My favorite place would be in the middle of copacabana and ipanema. But please learn how to be safe in the city, ask local people or fellow travellers. I will defintly come

Touristy circus of a place. Everyone is trying to rip you off... even as fluent Spanish speaker. Check out PV or anywhere west coast instead.

Definitely a place you can digital nomad at. I was here for a month and the internet was never a problem. The noise (constant construction, roosters, dogs and music) and heat were. The surfing was good but even in August there are a lot of people in this sml but developing town.

Personal Rating: 2/5 As a nomad kiteboarder, I spent 2 weeks in Cartagena just to work and enjoy the sunsets on the water. On the positive side, the city provides affordable accommodation options and a decent food scene with noteworthy restaurants like Celele or bars like Alquimico. The city's nightlife boasts lively bars and rooftop venues, and the sunsets are truly beautiful. However, prostitution and sex tourism is really to much and to present, which may be uncomfortable for some visitors.

I spent 7 days there. It's a little town for beach, surf and party. However, in the place "SELINA", you have a good environment to work, in front of the beach. The coworking space there isn't good, but the coffee inside the same "building" is very cool. I would recommend you to stay here 3 or 4 days, after that it's a bit boring. It's quiet in the week day, so better you manage to schedule to be there at least one friday or saturday, if you like partying.
