Finished out my time in the region. Packed my stuff up. Enjoyed a Mexican restaurant for lunch one day and breakfast the next. It was pretty solid. |

Dropped the bike off after a sweet week. โ In the morning I was waiting for the local bus to get me to the town center so I could grab the bus back down to Bariloche. After a week of total freedom and ability to jump on my moto, this was torture. I stuck my thumb out and got picked up by a nice man who happened to be the cousin of Lucia, my moto renter. Awesome people. |

Chill morning, easy beautiful ride up to Bariloche. A friend from my time in Buenos Aires reached out on Instagram saying he was in Bariloche too. We had an impromptu Christmas Dinner at a pub with a group of 6 digital nomads. |

Stayed at a cutest hostel 3km outside of town. Based on the road and surroundings I had a moment where I thought I might be alone in some random place with a sad hostel worker for Christmas Eve. Instead it was a full house of the coolest travelers and hosts. Great dinner and new friends. I stopped at the best whiskey distillery in Argentina and grabbed a bottle at the south edge of town. It was my offering to anyone willing to have a drink with me! |

Cute little Welsh town next to Los Alerces National Park. After a nice coffee and toast in the morning, I made my way through the park. Gorgeous riding, some off road, beautiful lakes, and almost no one there. Road back up to El Boson for Christmas Eve Dinner. |

Stayed at El Mirador - sweet hostel off the beaten path. Really nice group of travelers and a pretty natural surrounding. Left in the morning to the Labyrinth. Really enjoyed the maze, the cafe, the art gallery with a rad installation, and the amazing restaurant with homemade cider. Then went through a super windy ride to Trevelin and found a random hostel to stay at with no one there. |

Went Scuba Diving off the shore of Villa La Angostura. My dive buddy was a cool 19 year old local who took a ton of photos of me underwater with the tree flora. It was super cold. ~50 min dive. Then I made my way down to Bariloche and shared a bottle of wine at an Indian restaurant with a nice Canadian. Lovely day. |

Rented a moto from Letโs Ride Patagonia - Lucia. Super kind people with awesome Himalayans/Scrams. Left about midday to drive north. I went to Lago Traful down an hour of dirt road based on the suggestion of my hiking boot saleswoman. I then made it the rest of the way to San Martin de los Andes. |

โจ Recommended destinations they haven't been
This is an algorithmic recommendation based on @nicholasmaustin's trips history to find places they haven't been to yet that other people with similar travels also went and liked.
The other reviews are rightโit's a good city with excellent value for money. The people are nice enough. The infrastructure is good. You *should* like it, but you don'tโit's incredibly, incomprehensibly boring. The vibe is aggressively lukewarm. You will find more excitement in a rural Japanese village than hereโI'm not joking.

There are restaurants for every taste and budget, from the best US fast casual chains to high end Michelin star restaurants. It's also extremely safe, despite recent political instability.

I stayed for 7 days and was a little disappointed People are not very friendly, lots os places very dirty, people smoke a lot and the costs isn't affordable as people indicated here. Its a beautiful place, walkable, people have a good level of education, lots of things to do, but not as i imagined. Even so its a nice place.

Never learned Czech, but was fine. Almost all cafes and restaurants have English menus. Superb food delivery apps (Wolt is the best). All the food you can imagine. Vietnamese food is world-class because of the huge Vietnamese population. If you want hipster bars and cafes, there's plenty of that. If you want old-world-charm there's plenty of that. Chiang Mai has had a deep Buddhist influence running over the last 1,000 years and this can be felt in the helpfulness, patience and generosity of the Thai and long-term transplants you come across. The city has an active community scene (nomads, spiritual seekers, hikers, creatives), several mountains with hiking spots and waterfalls surrounding the city, over 20 water bodies inside the city -- many have cafes and walks around, several public parks, and over 13 national parks with campgrounds w

I don't like the main area of the canals in the city centre; it smells of weed and is often packed. However, the outer edges - such as the Jordaan district - are less busy and more interesting in my opinion. One thing that surprised me is how much trash was o

2 years ago I chose to go Wanaka to see what it was like as it was recommended to me by my Kiwi friend who lives in Auckland.
