This is an algorithmic recommendation based on @adrianlazarte's trips history to find places they haven't been to yet that other people with similar travels also went and liked.

Great for tourism, bad for living. The City has a fascinating contrast of old and new. You will never get bored, itโs easy to meet people and have fun. Infrastructure and food are great. Thai people are friendly and welcoming, even when it not always feels genuine. With that said, itโs not a good city for long term living. Itโs too hot and humid. Feltย air temperature is between 37ยฐC-45ยฐC almost year round during the day. Itโs makes all outdoor activity unpleasant. Getting your daily d

Once you figure out housing (not an easy thing but doable, especially once you stop looking in the touristic areas), Lisbon is a very charming, safe (even though I'll admit this is getting worse in certain areas), and fun city to live in. In most neighbourhoods you have the feeling of living in a small town instead of an urban area. There's aways something to do or see so it's hard to be bored living here. I still find Lisbon (and Portugal in general), to be one of the most attractive places in

Pros: Weather is great and apartments are excellent. Cons: City is dirty including the beaches. Locals are extremely hostile, unfriendly and confrontational. There isn't a huge amount of good things to do in the city - most things are mediocre. People constantly bash into you in the street. Food and coffee is very average. Crime is awful - my apartment was broken into and my suitcase got stolen from the baggage belt at the airport. Air quality is terrible.

I absolutely love Istanbul! My biggest recommendation would be to stay in Cihangir or Niลantaลฤฑ and avoid the main centre. Cihangir has so many beautiful cafes to work from and there are a lot of people working remotely so it's a really nice vibe. I agree with the comments about taxis, we just caught ubers but mostly walked everywhere which I would recommend. If you stay in Cihangir you can easily walk to Taxim square and through Galata. The food scene here is great once you know where to go

I've been hanging out in Berlin on and off for 30 years. It is very safe for women. It is much friendlier than it used to be. There are loads of vegan restaurants now. The nightlife and specially jazz clubs are amazing! I have an excellent apartment to rent out in Wedding - which used to have a boring reputation but now is very cool.

I recently visited Amsterdam for the third time (and the first time since 2018). I personally think it's a little overrated, but a cool place to visit nonetheless. The architecture is beautiful, and there are lots of good places to eat. I don't like the main area of the canals in the city centre; it smells of weed and is often packed. However, the outer edges - such as the Jordaan district - are less busy and more interesting in my opinion. One thing that surprised me is how much trash was o

New York is cool. Iโve visited multiple times to see my family throughout my life, and recently came back from my first post-COVID trip there. Yes, itโs very expensive โ but there is no city on earth thatโs more captivating in my opinion. I used to think that New Yorkers were smug by claiming that NYC was better than everywhere else, but now I totally get it lol. My personal favourite neighbourhood is the Upper East Side, which is where youโll find the coveted Museum Mile. But I also

Love it! The sun, the weather, the beach, the relaxing vibe! People are friendly, acommodations and food are affordable! And living here, for 1 year, as a woman, I never felt unsafe! It is crowed but I like frenetic cities!

I give the city a 6.5/10. Pro: - Walkable - Good selection of accomodation in relatively cheap in popular places - Great weekend trips nearby like Huacachina and Canta - Peruvian food is great - Great internet Cons: - More expensive than other places in Latin America except lunch. - Service in bars is much slower here than Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Mexico and Brazil. - A lot of honking with cars. - You can some times feel a bit limited to only Peruvian food and Chinese. I've moved here permanently. Kids are in an elite school for $600pm, and I'm the only non-Colombian parent. I'm surprised there aren't more foreigners. Going to Gringo Tuesdays is a very touristy thing, I only ever went once everyone is 25 and trying to get laid basically, and its P$11,000 a beer, my local pub sells beer for $P2,000 by comparison. The longer you are here the more you discover. The "centre" of the city is really from 83rd-93rd-115th roughly, 83rd has loads of great clubs and rest

BA is the safest city in the world, just after Tijuana and Caracas! But if you ask the local Porteรฑos, they'll assure you Argentina is THE BEST around the globe, whatever the matter in discussion. :-D With all the slums, poverty and ignorant population, a true 3rd world country, made of rude people, they didn't need to be so ridiculously arrogant. ๐

Unfortunately this was supposed to be the best economy in LATAM but what I found instead was a very over priced for what you get experience. People are rude in general, until you get to meet them personally, and the country is way behind in infrastructure, innovation and culture that most countries around it. Not worth your time and money at all.

The stats are stats are super misleading and the reviews here as well. Locals are staring to recent digital nomads for the rise of housing prices and for it not paying taxes. Very bad place to visit right now. The country is in a time of political and civil unrest, with mass protests closing down airports, train stations, and roads since early December 2022 (it is now mid January 2023). Tourists have had to be evacuated. The train to Machu Picchu is indefinitely closed until further notice. 48 people have died in the conflicts so far. Peru, and Cusco in particular, is a beautiful place with amazing things to see - but right now is not the time to visit.

I stayed here for 6 months and I absolutely love Mexico City. The life is comfortable if you stay in the bubbles, namely Roma Norte, Condesa and Polanco, but the living cost has increased 30% since last year, due to the inflation and skyrocketing mexican pesos. Mexican people are so friendly and I never had any safety issues. Definitely will be back in the future.
