Marseille is a nice big city, with a strong identity (very different from the rest of the country even the south of France). I lived there 6 mounth (being french) there is a lot of things to do, you can find easily cheap things to buy or do, people are relaxed, cool, but it's not safe, a lot of violence in the streets. I only stayed for 3 weeks cause the life is kind of boring compared to Tokyo or Osaka. It helps a lot if you speak some korean since not many people speak english and most restaurants don't have english menu. The internet is fast but the public transportation is always crowded.

Lived in Bogota for 2 months, living with a local was great. The Bogota restaurant scene was amazing if you stay mostly in the tourist or rich parts of Bogota, outside of the tourist parts I only found a couple of good restaurants. Spent the month of September here and it was nice for the first 2 weeks. There are a lot of young people due to the multiple universities and you smell weed everywhere!!! There is also so much construction going on with the roads and buildings, so it’s best to walk and bike most places. The BIXI bike system is awesome! Personal Rating: 2/5 As a nomad kiteboarder, I spent 2 weeks in Cartagena just to work and enjoy the sunsets on the water. On the positive side, the city provides affordable accommodation options and a decent food scene with noteworthy restaurants like Celele or bars like Alquimico. The city's nightlife boasts lively bars and rooftop venues, and the sunsets are truly beautiful. However, prostitution and sex tourism is really to much and to present, which may be uncomfortable for some visitors.

Gimhae is a nice area to stay if you enjoy nature, art galleries, shops, and a smaller city feel near the airport. You will have access to Busan as well. The light rail is a handy automated above ground rail to use. The line goes into Gimhae, to the Gimhae International Airport, and slightly into Busan before having to shift to another metro or transportation line. Gimhae also has a Costco and major supermarkets. The street art is also quirky.

Lived in Prague for 8 years. It's a beautiful international European city. Never learned Czech, but was fine. Almost all cafes and restaurants have English menus. Superb food delivery apps (Wolt is the best). All the food you can imagine. Vietnamese food is world-class because of the huge Vietnamese population. If you want hipster bars and cafes, there's plenty of that. If you want old-world-charm there's plenty of that. If you want posh luxury there's some of Europes best restaurants and cockta
