This is an algorithmic recommendation based on @mannbarry2's trips history to find places they haven't been to yet that other people with similar travels also went and liked.
This city is not for everyone, if you like shopping malls and big crowded cities it is for you. It may be cheap but if you want to live in a good location with swimming pool, go to nice rooftops and restaurants, use taxis then it is similar cost to western countries. In many areas there are no sidewalks, big and dangerous traffic all the time, pollution, taxis do not want to go with meter, it can get really hot. Definitely try to live by the metro. 2nd time to Tokyo in 2 years. So much to see and do and great value in the past few years due to a declining yen against the USD & Euro. Budapest was on my list about cities for living. I stayed for 7 days and was a little disappointed People are not very friendly, lots os places very dirty, people smoke a lot and the costs isn't affordable as people indicated here. Its a beautiful place, walkable, people have a good level of education, lots of things to do, but not as i imagined. Even so its a nice place.

Lived in Prague for 8 years. It's a beautiful international European city. Never learned Czech, but was fine. Almost all cafes and restaurants have English menus. I don't know exactly how Barcelona is still considered safe but it's far from it. It's probably the most dangerous city to live in Madrid and one of the most dangerous in europe, with constant pick-pocketing and even violent crimes to get your wallet and phone in certain areas. I did not like it. The people are nice though. Palermo Hollywood and Soho are very walkable hipster neighborhoods, kinda remind me of the chill parts of Barcelona. Food is hit or miss. For a country that's known for steak, most steak here is overcooked, low quality meat, without flavor. I heard it was better 10-20 years ago when the cows weren't factory farmed here. I came to Las Palmas Gran Canaria two years ago as a digital nomad and now have my home base there. Occasionally I still travel, especially during the summer because the digital nomad community is less active during that time and it is too hot for me personally. I was in the South in Adeje where I found an amazing coliving place (check google: Ojala Casa Tenerife). It's by far the best place to be in Europe.

I don't understand why London has so high safety rating. Your phone could be stolen and your bicycle WILL be stolen here (or a part of it). I live here 8.5 years and I experienced the above multiple times. Police seems only cares about crime against person by whatever reason. Insure everything expensive that you own. I would also add that antisocial behaviour is quite common here and teenagers are heavily involved in crimes as police don't do anything with them because of their age. Basically th

The most vietnamese city in Vietnam. The Old Quarter and West Lake are the highlights. If you come, try the egg coffee. Be mindful Vietnam has cracked down on visas, and it is not as friendly to foreigners. I was able to relax after I received a 5-year spousal visa.

Playa has been really good to me. The digital nomad community (at least over my winter stay) has been INCREDIBLE. Join the Facebook groups, find the WhatsApp groups - itโs so easy to meet others. The beach is ok, seaweed isnโt as bad in winter but itโs very visible and does smell. It rarely kills my beach day. The city has so many conveinces and is very walkable - itโs perfect for someone looking to work and enjoy themselves. Internet has been stable and fast. I get itโs not authentic,

Was in GLASGOW this end of JANUARY 2020. Post-industrial view everywhere, there is little to do in the old town + pedestrian area. Seems quite unattractive in comparison with EDINBURGH. Just to be quite frank with you nomads, it looks much more affordable if you eat at BURGER KING + LIDL or TESCO around there.
