Great for tourism, bad for living. The City has a fascinating contrast of old and new. You will never get bored, itโs easy to meet people and have fun. Infrastructure and food are great. Thai people are friendly and welcoming, even when it not always feels genuine. With that said, itโs not a good city for long term living. Itโs too hot and humid. Feltย air temperature is between 37ยฐC-45ยฐC almost year round during the day. Itโs makes all outdoor activity unpleasant. Getting your daily d

BA is the safest city in the world, just after Tijuana and Caracas! But if you ask the local Porteรฑos, they'll assure you Argentina is THE BEST around the globe, whatever the matter in discussion. :-D With all the slums, poverty and ignorant population, a true 3rd world country, made of rude people, they didn't need to be so ridiculously arrogant. ๐

Pros: Weather is great and apartments are excellent. Cons: City is dirty including the beaches. Locals are extremely hostile, unfriendly and confrontational. There isn't a huge amount of good things to do in the city - most things are mediocre. People constantly bash into you in the street. Food and coffee is very average. Crime is awful - my apartment was broken into and my suitcase got stolen from the baggage belt at the airport. Air quality is terrible.

It used to be a nice city for nomads, but its out-priced now and don't recommend it. I am a single female- remote worker from USA with residence permit of 2 years and have to say its not what it used to be. Stormy tropical weather as we speak so unpredictable these days. Landlords charging ridiculous prices and amenities just don't match quality that should be given. Looking into Spain as we speak..

Tokyo has so much to offer and so much to do. It is easily overwhelming. Whereas I usually take my first week to explore a place Tokyoโs sights just kept on going. I remember ending up in a hidden cocktail bar, a mexican rooftop party with 1 meter margaritas, spending a whole day going only to French places(?), visiting a store that only imported 2nd hand hiphop apparel, and throughout it all the best michelin star ramen. It just seemed endless, completely unrelated and incredibly fun. Six wee

I absolutely love Istanbul! My biggest recommendation would be to stay in Cihangir or Niลantaลฤฑ and avoid the main centre. Cihangir has so many beautiful cafes to work from and there are a lot of people working remotely so it's a really nice vibe. I agree with the comments about taxis, we just caught ubers but mostly walked everywhere which I would recommend. If you stay in Cihangir you can easily walk to Taxim square and through Galata. The food scene here is great once you know where to go

Stayed for 2 weeks after almost a year n a half in LatAm. Beautiful city; great food options- especially for Asian food lovers. Plenty of authentic Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese options for about 50% of what you would pay in a Western city. Decent hostels will cost $11-$15 weekdays and between $18-$30 on weekends.... Good internet; beautiful architecture and people but it is true Hungarians can be very cold at times. Overall a good stay with many destinations just a quick and cheap flight/tr

Not my favourite place, but it has some positive qualities. If you want American comforts like Walmart, Costco, Sam's Club and live abroad, this is a good spot. You can also shop from both Amazon US and MX; there are many US/Canadian people here. It's a very comfortable place to be in many ways. For many people, it's a great first digital nomad spot as many things are catered to tourists, making it easier for nomads. There are a lot of great, cheap gyms for every activity you can think of. Great for a visit. Beautiful scenery. Good food. I thought it would be great to live here, start a startup and be in the same time zone as SF, close to Seattle, etc. But compared to Vancouver in 2009, one big change that totally ruined it for me: Absolute zombie apocalypse of drug addicts and shouting/violent home less people. It was shockingly bad. The locals often visibly carry naxalone (anti-overdose medicine, I learned) because there are so many people overdosing in the street. Police were n

We stayed in Munich for 2 weeks, and more specifically, we were in Dachau. Amazing city that is very clean, safe, and full of history. Dachau has a lot to offer as well, so I recommend staying a bit further out and take the train to the city center. The English garden is a fantastic place to surf, swim, layout, walk, bike, or have a picnic. I will definitely come back here!

The stats are stats are super misleading and the reviews here as well. Locals are staring to recent digital nomads for the rise of housing prices and for it not paying taxes. It is really unfortunate, but I am let down by this city and the people. Renting a flat as a freelancer here is incredibly difficult. The city isn't small but there's not enough to do in my opinion apart from drinking and eating. Locals mostly keep to themselves and don't mix much. Not enough nomadlisters. The co-working space here is alright (Harry Cow is โฌ20 per day) but when it gets busy with 4-5 people having meetings and generally not being mindful of others, it's headache inducing. A lot of homeless weirdos with dogs asking for change who will insult you if y

Thessaloniki is a city spread over the hills by the side of the Aegean. A cultural crossroads since Byzantine times, it has amazing cuisine and is full of reasonably priced tavernas and restaurants. Full of neo-classical buildings, there are lots of great living options available close to the city center and beyond. The pace of life is stately or as locals call it "hallarah" and most are not in a rush. There is a nice film festival in the Fall and many other public celebrations.

Didn't like this city that much. Been there twice and honestly it has nothing so special. Just the DUOMO in the center is the main great scenery but besides that, nothing in particular to bother for.

The south of the island has miles of empty beaches and very calm inland villages. Lachania, Vati, Mesanagros and Arnitha all have beautiful squares with wifi where you can telework sitting in a kafeneio under the shade of a tree. In Vati there is free 5G in the square and no car in sight. You might see fallow deers grazing around. Perfect place to concentrate. Platanos taverna offers great home made food from April to November. It can get cold in winter and insulation and heating are hard to f

Once you figure out housing (not an easy thing but doable, especially once you stop looking in the touristic areas), Lisbon is a very charming, safe (even though I'll admit this is getting worse in certain areas), and fun city to live in. In most neighbourhoods you have the feeling of living in a small town instead of an urban area. There's aways something to do or see so it's hard to be bored living here. I still find Lisbon (and Portugal in general), to be one of the most attractive places in
