Krakow is a brilliant city to live and work from. Friendly, easy to get around (usually able to walk everywhere), great internet and busy nightlife. Really pretty city, too. Kazimierz, the old Jewish district, is the obvious place to live. Loads of great cafes and other digital nomads there. I was there during the summer when it was between 24 and 30 degrees each day, which is perfect. No doubt a different experience in the winter, though!

I stayed here for a month in July last year. There's lots of cool aspects to the city but I hated it when I was there. The city has a problem with British stag parties, so if you look like you're a British male and speak English expect to be treated with disdain (it's fair enough) The Hungarians can just generally be unfriendly, especially bartenders. It's a weird experience waiting to be served while 3 people ignore you. Or buying the same drink and getting charged whatever they want (700-1500

A really amazing city, I wouldn't agree that it's small, there's much more to it than just the historical core, 20th century architecture is like 4/5 of the city and there are many vibrant neighbourhoods, restaurants and places where the normie locals hang out.

    1. Dubrovnik is in Republic of Croatia and Croatia is among FIRST SIX COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD that legally regulated 12 month visas for Digital nomads. 2. When this Town (under name of Ragusa) was independent state it was The first country in the world that officially recognize independency of the USA. Historic heritage of this town is enormous so there is plenty amazing things to see and learn. 3. During last year Dubrovnik was almost COVID-19 FREE ZONE with extra small numbers of infections and

Tirana was a pleasant surprise for me! It wasnโ€™t on my initial list for places Iโ€™d planned to go this year, but after researching countries in Europe that allows U.S. citizens to enter with COVID, it piqued my interest. I stayed in the Blloku area and would definitely recommend it. Itโ€™s littered with bars and cafes you can work from (Mon Cheri and Mulliri Vjeter became fast favorites because of consistency!). I was also genuinely grateful to get the chance to learn about the very recent co

Much nicer than people would have you think. Too many locals seem to be under the impression that it's the busiest, most expensive city in the world. These people clearly haven't travelled much. Not saying it's cheap, but for a big city in an English speaking country it's about what you'd expect, if not cheaper. Pros: - Hot humid summers, gorgeous orange autumns, cold snowy winters. If you like distinct seasons this is a great place to be. Winter is about 4-5 months, from Nov-Mar. Ignore every

Hong Kong is a fabulous city - from big city living, to isolated beaches, outlying islands and hikes through mountainous terrain. The big downside is it's EXPENSIVE. You need to have a decent salary to live here - otherwise, it would be tough. Hong Kong island is the most expensive, but more affordable places are possible, the further you are willing to travel. It's quite a transient city, so probably pretty easy to make connections!

I visited Nairobi twice - in 2017 and then again in 2019. On my second visit, I stayed in a comfortable 2 bdrm apartment with friends. It was super easy to move around - just call Uber. I visited a few nice shopping malls where I shopped and ate lunch. Prices were reasonable for me (an American). I'm also vegan and there were vegan options at all of the restaurants I visited as well as a great vegan restaurant (Indian cuisine). The best part of the trip for us was going on safari. It's a lon

Extremely friendly and welcoming locals, and world-class scuba diving. The high cost of living and low walkability make George Town a poor fit for most digital nomads. Ideal situation would be to get a short-term gig from an employer that offers housing and a car. There's a good mix of tourists and professionals, good internet, and beautiful beaches.

Putrajaya is the only place I would recommend due to its close proximity to the airport. The Shaftsbury Hotel is modern with two convenience stores, pharmacy, restaurants, dental, and more in the actual building. There is a rain fountain in "mall" of the building that would be Putrajaya's attempt at Singapore's airport one. The location is also literally right across from the bigger mall that has restaurants, international grocery store, movie theater, bowling, electronics, etc. It's a safe a
