โจ Recommended destinations they haven't been
This is an algorithmic recommendation based on @liluminus's trips history to find places they haven't been to yet that other people with similar travels also went and liked.

Sitting here laughing out loud at these "been here a few week" reviews where supposedly they could tell it all. You guys obviously don't know the right places, you probably ended up around lower Sukhumvit (with all the mention about hookers and lbs). Don't listen to any of this. I've lived around SEA for 10+ years. Nearly 8 of them in Bangkok. There is a reason I keep coming back. You have: excellent networking, lots of startups, awesome nightlife (if you know where to go!), amazing, internation

My opinion to this person is: - Please go home and be happy and cheerful! Donโt live at โmiserable and depressed (โฆ) populationโ home. - If youโre only use to eat potatoes + burgers, us, as the rest of the world, we have that too. - Please post your photo, so Portuguese women know from whom they must running from. โPros: - Plenty of great co-working spaces - Lots of digital nomads - Meetups, tech and crypto conferences Cons: - Everything is severely overpriced from food to rents (

I've been hanging out in Berlin on and off for 30 years. It is very safe for women. It is much friendlier than it used to be. There are loads of vegan restaurants now. The nightlife and specially jazz clubs are amazing! I have an excellent apartment to rent out in Wedding - which used to have a boring reputation but now is very cool.

Lisbon is getting expensive and Porto is still affordable, cheap except to the locals. They can't even rent or buy there anymore. If you go to Porto or similar and pay for overpriced housing and services, you will be contributing to this small city becoming even more expensive. Portugal is small so Portuguese people don't have anywhere else to go. When Porto becomes expensive like Lisbon you can just go away, but the locals can't. They opened their doors to you, be respectful.

One of the best cities in Europe. Though location makes a big difference in Istanbul. Besikatas, Niลantaลฤฑ, and Karakoy are parts that I enjoyed. They are safe and have nice vibe and energy. Big city, but not too hectic. I've met a lot of friendly Turkish people there and had good conversations. The food is good and relatively cheap. Outside of the good areas you will find lots of scams, people will try you everyday. Though its not violent, you can always just walk away.

Tokyo has so much to offer and so much to do. It is easily overwhelming. Whereas I usually take my first week to explore a place Tokyoโs sights just kept on going. I remember ending up in a hidden cocktail bar, a mexican rooftop party with 1 meter margaritas, spending a whole day going only to French places(?), visiting a store that only imported 2nd hand hiphop apparel, and throughout it all the best michelin star ramen. It just seemed endless, completely unrelated and incredibly fun. Six wee

How did you guys classified Penge as rich? It is one of the worst neighbourhood I have ever been in London, the ammount of people I know that have been robbed there is appalling.

I am a Greek living abroad just the last couple of years. I accidentally discovered this page and noticed the comments below. What I can recommend to people considering living in Athens is to explore places a bit outside of the city center. I agree with people that there are many areas very close to the city center that are dirty and perhaps not very safe to walk around at night. Explore areas like Glyfada, Voula, Kifisia, Marousi, Psychiko, Marousi and you will be amazed with how different it i

Lived there last September and October and am coming back later this year. Yes, it is expensive, but after a while I learned about affordable places to eat and realized I could choose neighborhoods farther from city center, and it would still be nice. City feels super safe, even at nigh! Internet is crazy fast (I got 500mb on my airbnb) there are tons to do and see and I did not encounter the super rude Parisians people talk so much about, mostly everyone spoke English and were very polite. Rent

Just visited Vienna for the second time and I figured that it would be worth writing a review about. Things I liked: - The architecture, as others have mentioned, is really beautiful - Food/cafes are also really good. I recommend trying options in Leopoldstadt, where the choices were better (IMO) than the city center. Fromme Helene is close to the city hall and great for Schnitzel, strรผdel, etc. - Efficient public transport, though it can take a few days to get used to if you're from a sma

I currently live with my family in Valencia for 5 months and every day we are grateful to have found this piece of the world that we fall in love with every day, its gastronomy, its family plans, its culture, the green areas, outdoor plans, everything is Well-being here... like every city, it has some things to improve, but it has many positive things like feeling good with what you see, with what you do, sun almost all year round, many things to do with children and adults, a lot of art and mus

This guide is UTTERLY WRONG. $3.300 per month!? You can rent a room as cheap as 200โฌ (erasmus rooms), 1beer costs usually under 2โฌ and has a free 'Tapa' - normally when I go out, with 5โฌ I've eaten and drank enough. Coworkings cost somewhere from 70-120โฌ depending if part time or full time. Then you can go almost anywhere around walking, and by bus to the mountains. Compared to Berlin, the Internet is much faster and cheaper. Simyo has 20โฌ prepaid cards that give you 60GB data x month.

I spent around 3 months in this city. Pros: - beautiful city (arquitecture- WOW)!! -Not so cold in winter -Lovely people Cons: It gets VERY HOT!! The summer is insanely hot and I could never live all year round in Seville. Conservative vibe Very dry climate.

Just returned after 1mo in Madrid. From a Male 35 year old perspective, I loved it. Endless night life, techno clubs, dive bars, live music, open jam sessions if that's your thing. If you're feeling lonely hit up Meetup and you'll find plenty of international meetups/pub crawls. Retiro park is green and huge when you need a break from the city. It's dense with tons of people from all walks of life. Multi-cultural population, students, professionals, travelers, English is spoken well my most loca
