How did SF get scored #98 on Nomad score? I agree with most of the reviews posted here. I generally work from home, but we recently rented a small conference room for a meeting. It was $250 per hour.. (yes Per Hour... no typos here).

Loved this city! It is not big although has great nightlife, coworkings, amazing streetart and is quite cheap. Although, when I visited in December 2021 they had problems with garbage removal.

I lived there for 3 years... If you wanna work, you'll really struggle. Sometimes the WiFi would be down for like 5 days. If you need to download heavy files you probably wont be able to, WiFi will fall before you can wait the 4 hours it would take. You can rely on your Telcel, but not even that one was working all the time. Don't believe the hype! I ended up moving out.

Small area/beach, claustrophobic. I think enough to do entertainment wise. Just expensive due the mass amounts of CA residents/expats/business owners, wifi is also weak unless you are at a top place like Sayulita Hotel. Surf break is essentially one peak and crowded, the locals don't really share it. One week tops here.
