โจ Recommended destinations they haven't been
This is an algorithmic recommendation based on @carlostv's trips history to find places they haven't been to yet that other people with similar travels also went and liked.
A dystopian cyberpunk metropolis, a veritable Night City, both chaotic and well run, livable yet poisonous. Follow the classic advice: stay near the BTS, skyscraper condo, work from mall libraries, cafes, and commons, donโt be outside. Outsource your chores. On a western salary or with savings, youโll be playing life on easy mode. Focus your energy on meeting people, honing your body, and learning new skills. Thereโs a reason itโs number 1. You can disagree, but try to find it.

Now, it seems you get the dollar blue exchange rate by using a credit card, so as long as you have a credit card that doesn't charge fees, it will be as cheap if not cheaper than paying in cash for things. Changing money is no hassle if you use the cuevas, and have clean 100 dollar bills for the best exchange rate. I have been two weeks, and have been humbled by the kindness and openness of the people so far. I have not found them rude in any way, quite

So much to see and do and great value in the past few years due to a declining yen against the USD & Euro. Beautiful city; great food options- especially for Asian food lovers. Plenty of authentic Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese options for about 50% of what you would pay in a Western city. Decent hostels will cost $11-$15 weekdays and between $18-$30 on weekends.... Good internet; beautiful architecture and people but it is true Hungarians can be very cold at times. It is much friendlier than it used to be. There are loads of vegan restaurants now. The nightlife and specially jazz clubs are amazing! I have an excellent apartment to rent out in Wedding - which used to have a boring reputation but now is very cool.

Almost all cafes and restaurants have English menus. Superb food delivery apps (Wolt is the best). All the food you can imagine. It is more expensve than expected. Depending whete you live, streets can be dirty. It seems the government only uses the tax money to invest in the high en areas. Thwre are is a lot of inequality. People are very racist. I am Mexican, and the first thing people ask me here, is whete do I come from. I have never felt as discriminated as here and to be honest I dont think I have it as bad as other people.
