The Sights, the Sounds, the Scentsโฆ Bangkok Is Beautiful Chaos And A City Of Contrasts!!! You have here: - modern shopping centers & traditional markets - michelin star restaurants & street food - sky trains & tuktuks - skyscrapers & temples - nightlife & culture In my opinion, there is no other city in the world that offers so much diversity. In addition, life there is very cheap compared to other big cities in the world. You can get apartments with a rooftop pool, gym and co-working

Chiang Mai has had a deep Buddhist influence running over the last 1,000 years and this can be felt in the helpfulness, patience and generosity of the Thai and long-term transplants you come across. The city has an active community scene (nomads, spiritual seekers, hikers, creatives), several mountains with hiking spots and waterfalls surrounding the city, over 20 water bodies inside the city -- many have cafes and walks around, several public parks, and over 13 national parks with campgrounds w

I stayed here for 6 months and I absolutely love Mexico City. The life is comfortable if you stay in the bubbles, namely Roma Norte, Condesa and Polanco, but the living cost has increased 30% since last year, due to the inflation and skyrocketing mexican pesos. Mexican people are so friendly and I never had any safety issues. Definitely will be back in the future.

Warsaw, as a destination for digital nomads, presents a mixed bag of experiences. It's often praised for its affordability, good quality of life, and excellent infrastructure, including fast internet and walkable neighborhoodsใ8โ sourceใใ7โ sourceใ. However, it's also characterized by a bustling atmosphere, high traffic, and an ongoing political agenda that some find off-putting. While many digital nomads and locals have found a home in Warsaw, it's worth noting that this city may not

Very nice city, but as everyone says, a bit boring after awhile. It's comfortable and feels like the suburbs, with conveniences that you don't always find in SE Asian countries. Luxury shopping malls, excellent hospitals, and infrastructure, are all things that are not as common in other SE Asian countries, (although Bangkok, TH, has good malls and hospitals). KLCC is safe, from a solo female traveler, if you're careful. I stayed in the KLCC area and was advised by other KL nomads, to stay ins

Tokyo has so much to offer and so much to do. It is easily overwhelming. Whereas I usually take my first week to explore a place Tokyoโs sights just kept on going. I remember ending up in a hidden cocktail bar, a mexican rooftop party with 1 meter margaritas, spending a whole day going only to French places(?), visiting a store that only imported 2nd hand hiphop apparel, and throughout it all the best michelin star ramen. It just seemed endless, completely unrelated and incredibly fun. Six wee

I've been hanging out in Berlin on and off for 30 years. It is very safe for women. It is much friendlier than it used to be. There are loads of vegan restaurants now. The nightlife and specially jazz clubs are amazing! I have an excellent apartment to rent out in Wedding - which used to have a boring reputation but now is very cool.

Welcome to the city of main characters. New Yorkers can be incredibly friendly, we're quick to invite you into our places and plans and most of us enjoy a revolving circle of not-so-close friends and a little core group of people. New York makes it easy to do the best work of your life and have fun all night in between. Everything is a tap away. Nightlife can be fun, but the real underground parties have all progressively moved out to no-mans-land in Ridgewood and Bushwick (semi-convenient only

Really enjoyed my time here. Stunningly beautiful island. Like the previous reviewer, I would also take my scooter and just bounce around the island, just to enjoy the landscape. Getting around by scooter is an absolute necessity on Ko Pha Ngan - itโs just not viable to walk or take taxis everywhere. I would really recommend having some practice on a scooter before arriving here. Some of the mountain grades are quite steep and you need to know proper braking to not have an accident IMO. Also,

The downtown is cute and fun to visit. Besides "Historic 25th Street"(where some scenes of the show Yellowstone were filmed) and the two or three blocks surrounding it, the city is not walkable. There's a lot of fun things to see throughout the year like the Ogden Twilight Concert set in summer, and the Farmers market. Or around Christmas time the city and a bunch of companies put up a 'Christmas Village' which is super fun for kids. On the other side of things, there are a lot of outspoken righ

A top city. Everything works, beautiful greenery (hehe), cycling everywhere, happy people, great nightlife... Lots to love about. For nomads? Not a chance. Price of housing is outrageous, and the city is expensive af. They charge you 4.5-5 eur for a capuccino, completely shameless. An hour of public transport is 3 euros. I could go on and on. I'd love to live there, but it's not worth it.

Unless you want to spend the whole ski season in an outdated, tiny, crowded and poorly manage ski resort and terrible town and atmosphere, thereโs nothing worth noting to do in Bansko. I quite liked Zagreb. People are fairly warm, and it's charmingly laid out. Lots of good cafes and restaurants, and the center is pretty walkable. As someone else said there are the commie block vibes, but those are in more peripheral neighborhoods. I felt it was safe, and had no issues getting around by tram mostly. Many people get the wrong idea about this city because they don't know where to go or stay at a touristy place. It's one of the best cities for me personally to live in (decided to move here full-time). If you still want to live in a city with it's amenities, but want to have the ability to run to nature within 10-20 minutes, this might be it for you. Yes, it's not cheap, and I would put Limassol into the exact cost of living brackets as Lisbon or Berlin. For long-term living, the costs are much
