I've travelled a lot in the past, and I even spent a year in Gdansk, Poland. But I'm still new to this, so any jobs, tips, or friends are welcome.
I'm originally from Richmond, VA, USA, and my favorite thing to do while traveling is rent a car and explore the nature/landscapes of the place I am visiting.
I have a masters in product innovation, and consulted for startups before Covid, but right now I'm just working odd jobs to make ends meet. So, if you have any work to throw my way, I'd be most grateful.

Prices aren't that low anymore. 1br apartment in the centre would cost you around 400 euros, maybe even 500 if you go for something more luxurious. Airbnbs are 40-50 euros per night (central ones). Dinner would be anywhere from 5 to 10 euros and even more if you go to the fanciest restaurants. There's a decent tech scene around (lots of software engineers in the city). I'm living in Timisoara since 2011.

I lived in Central Warsaw on and off for about 1 year pre and post-pandemic. Central Warsaw is the "New York of Eastern Europe". Pros: - Very convenient, safe and clean. - Lots of modern, futuristic buildings. Easy to find nice apartments. - Very bike-able. - Not too expensive. - Lots of coworking spaces. - Some startup culture and quite a few meetups (pre-pandemic). - Polish women are beautiful. - Interesting history. Cons: - Not much of a nomad scene. - Coworking spaces have a rather corpor

I live here in Dublin and I disagree you should stay in Ballymun or Finglas. These places are dangerous. Very. Mobile operator Three is terrible. Vodafone tends to be a bit more expensive but to support your work it is the only one I recommend. Dublin and the whole of Ireland is charming and fun. It is not cheap. You will not regret coming over.

I absolutely love living in this city. It's very clean, safe and things generally always work! This is something I miss when I travel to other cities in Europe and rest of the world. Also co-working spaces are growing tons. Though night life might be pretty "boring", it truly is what you make it. Get to know other expats and friends through meetups or friend of a friend, and you'll have an awesome time here!

Bansko is much overrated. In summertime it feels like a ghost town in the residential apartments. The center is quite animated but it is not very expatfriendly.

  • Turin

Great city if you come here as a tourist But after one month here it has not been my best experience The city is dirty and peoples don't talk great english but defenitively some nice place to visit like the egyptian museum or the museum of cinema and also the muntain are not that far away. For thr price it's not the best blace to go unless you absolutely want to learn italian. And gosh try not to be run over by cars there.
