  • Tulum

Coming from Bali, Tulum is probably 7 years behind. Wifi and cell signal isn't great everywhere. Not many co-working spaces. Similar prices to what you would find in USA. Covid restrictions don't really exisit.

  • Playa del Carmen

This place is a total gem! Bali/Thailand vibes + close to US. Also am impressed with their covid policies - not as much mask wearing, but I get an instant no-hassle temperature check virtually every place I go, which is so much smarter than stupid curfews, closures, and quarantine theater I dealt with in the US every day.

  • Colorado Springs

Big city with a small town feel. Quite spread out, not a very dense population, besides downtown. Lots of military presence. Tons of great places to eat/drink/get coffee, and countless amazing small businesses. Lots to do outdoors, not as much nightlife. Residents are generally very hardworking and friendly. It's a great place to visit, especially if you have time for some of the more "hidden" attractions. The tourist traps are great too, but there's much more to the city if you know where to lo

We stayed here for two months. This was an amazing experience. I plan to move back for a longer time. We came here from Los Angeles, we lived in Polanco and Roma, both great but I would recommend Roma as it has a younger crowd, a bit more active, and cheaper. Even with going out to dinner several times a week still found a hard to spend beyond $25 USD for a meal, even in more expensive neighborhoods like Polanco with amazing food around every corner!! It felt very safe and there were police
