I've been hanging out in Berlin on and off for 30 years. It is very safe for women. It is much friendlier than it used to be. There are loads of vegan restaurants now. The nightlife and specially jazz clubs are amazing! I have an excellent apartment to rent out in Wedding - which used to have a boring reputation but now is very cool.

There is a reason why 95% of expats are male.... If you want low cost of living, pretty girls, decent climate and cheap parties Medellin is the place to be, however the people that say Medellin is amazing is usually guys because of the pretty girls, Medellin isnt a pretty city at all, not overly alot to do in the city itself, nothing special

Just arrived in KL, we are 30/35yrs+, a married couple and digital nomads, and wow.. What a city! This is the New York City of Asia. These appartments are epic. Grand views, very affordable, luxurious! You would pay 10-fold for the same deal in NYC or Tokyo or Dubai. And the food is fantastic. Indian, Malay, Indo, Chinese, American, European. The world is here!

There's no reason to live in this city. I spent a year here. The weather is not even a bit nicer compared to central-eastern Europe. Maybe when it's -4 degrees in Budapest, it's +1 in Barcelona. That's just as cold. And the insulation in apartments is practically non-existent, as well as AC and heating. Stayed for 2 weeks after almost a year n a half in LatAm. Beautiful city; great food options- especially for Asian food lovers. Lived in Prague for 8 years. It's a beautiful international European city. Never learned Czech, but was fine. Almost all cafes and restaurants have English menus.
