This is an algorithmic recommendation based on @kvtoraman's trips history to find places they haven't been to yet that other people with similar travels also went and liked.
This city is not for everyone, if you like shopping malls and big crowded cities it is for you. It may be cheap but if you want to live in a good location with swimming pool, go to nice rooftops and restaurants, use taxis then it is similar cost to western countries. In many areas there are no sidewalks, big and dangerous traffic all the time, pollution, taxis do not want to go with meter, it can get really hot. Definitely try to live by the metro. Many foreigners, mostly friendly people, cheap

2nd time to Tokyo in 2 years. So much to see and do and great value in the past few years due to a declining yen against the USD & Euro. The other reviews are rightโit's a good city with excellent value for money. The people are nice enough. The infrastructure is good. Hong Kong is a great city with dense urban areas but also nature and hiking routes only 15 minutes away. There are restaurants for every taste and budget, from the best US fast casual chains to high end Michelin star restaurants. It's also extremely safe, despite recent political instability.

Lived in Prague for 8 years. It's a beautiful international European city. Never learned Czech, but was fine. Almost all cafes and restaurants have English menus. Canggu has changed quite a lot. Inmigration treats tourist like shit. Congestion and traffic is a nightmare. Horrible Pollution. Been living here 2 years and I am def closing this chapter. I don't know exactly how Barcelona is still considered safe but it's far from it. It's probably the most dangerous city to live in Madrid and one of the most dangerous in europe, with constant pick-pocketing and even violent crimes to get your wallet and phone in certain areas. If you like a peaceful life, Barcelona is not the place anymore!!

Berlin used to be nomad base in Europe... but it's not the same anymore. The 'pandemic' changed many things -- the cost of course, but also the culture -- the freedom and liberty have been contained. Decent city, mainly because the people are so kind. But, it is a pain to get cash (spent a few hours every couple weeks trying Western Union after WU and never finding one with enough cash), and a lot of places don't take cards/the current exchange rate is a ripoff. However, BRING REPELLENT. The place is littered with mosquitos, and my partner and I both contracted dengue. He ended up in the hospital, and it was not a blast. The healthcare system is decent, but long wait times even in the nicest

Bali for grownups. It's perfectly safe. I could walk in 95% areas of Floripa at night with my phone taken out without any feeling of danger. Safer than Rio, for sure. All types of water sport and hikes are available here, so it's a good place for people who are into nature. Place isn't very trendy and service sometimes isn't that good but it's getting there. I spent a month here. I think it's a livable city but I don't know the value of living here long-term compared to other cities in LatAm. Pros: - Great bar and restaurant scene. Coffee shops are really chill. Service is really good for the most part, but everyone is too cool to be friendly (hipsters). - It doesn't feel too unsafe, especially if you're not out late at night. Personal Rating: 2/5 As a nomad kiteboarder, I spent 2 weeks in Cartagena just to work and enjoy the sunsets on the water. On the positive side, the city provides affordable accommodation options and a decent food scene with noteworthy restaurants like Celele or bars like Alquimico. The city's nightlife boasts lively bars and rooftop venues, and the sunsets are truly beautiful. However, prostitution and sex tourism is really to much and to present, which may be uncomfortable for some visitors.

Soโฆ amazing food. Great public transportation. Very clean. But very conformist. Self expression limited. The irony of seeing an exhibit on graffiti, yet no actual graffiti in the streets. And the causal racism especially if youโre brown. You could be British born but still expect to be sat far away from everyone else at cocktail bars, experience comments and have weird assumptions made.

Chiang Mai has had a deep Buddhist influence running over the last 1,000 years and this can be felt in the helpfulness, patience and generosity of the Thai and long-term transplants you come across. Definitely worth visiting but not particularly attractive as a remote work destination. I can't think of anything Seoul does better than other Asian cities outside of just being cool because it's South Korean (and I don't mean that sarcastically at all, South Korea is a very cool place). Canโt recommend Ubud. Itโs just the same overdeveloped and overpriced mentally isolated tourist trap that is Canggu, just a bit worse. If you have never been anywhere else, it might be okay for 2 weeks, but to any seasoned traveller itโs a the type of place you dread.

Old San Juan's architecture is lovely. Although it's as pricey as a US mainland city, the food is good and the coffee is excellent. Locals can vary in friendliness quite a bit -- although being brusque with someone from the US mainland is entirely understandable. Uber works perfectly well. The museums have very inexpensive admissions fees. All in all, a good destination for a shorter (3 weeks or less) trip. But not a place with a digital nomad community or lots of cultural activities.
