โจ Recommended destinations they haven't been
This is an algorithmic recommendation based on @joshsg's trips history to find places they haven't been to yet that other people with similar travels also went and liked.
A dystopian cyberpunk metropolis, a veritable Night City, both chaotic and well run, livable yet poisonous. Follow the classic advice: stay near the BTS, skyscraper condo, work from mall libraries, cafes, and commons, donโt be outside. Outsource your chores. On a western salary or with savings, youโll be playing life on easy mode. Focus your energy on meeting people, honing your body, and learning new skills. Thereโs a reason itโs number 1. You can disagree, but try to find it.

So much to see and do and great value in the past few years due to a declining yen against the USD & Euro. The city has an active community scene (nomads, spiritual seekers, hikers, creatives), several mountains with hiking spots and waterfalls surrounding the city, over 20 water bodies inside the city -- many have cafes and walks around, several public parks, and over 13 national parks with campgrounds w

Beautiful city; great food options- especially for Asian food lovers. Plenty of authentic Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese options for about 50% of what you would pay in a Western city. Decent hostels will cost $11-$15 weekdays and between $18-$30 on weekends.... Good internet; beautiful architecture and people but it is true Hungarians can be very cold at times. It is much friendlier than it used to be. There are loads of vegan restaurants now. The nightlife and specially jazz clubs are amazing! I have an excellent apartment to rent out in Wedding - which used to have a boring reputation but now is very cool.

I am a single female- remote worker from USA with residence permit of 2 years and have to say its not what it used to be. Stormy tropical weather as we speak so unpredictable these days. Landlords charging ridiculous prices and amenities just don't match quality that should be given. Looking into Spain as we speak..

It's probably the most dangerous city to live in Madrid and one of the most dangerous in europe, with constant pick-pocketing and even violent crimes to get your wallet and phone in certain areas. If you like a peaceful life, Barcelona is not the place anymore!!

Once you figure out housing (not an easy thing but doable, especially once you stop looking in the touristic areas), Lisbon is a very charming, safe (even though I'll admit this is getting worse in certain areas), and fun city to live in. In most neighbourhoods you have the feeling of living in a small town instead of an urban area. There's aways something to do or see so it's hard to be bored living here. The good: it's gorgeous, great hiking and scenery, wide variety of restaurants at affordable prices, lots of great cheap wine, walkable neighborhoods. The bones are there to make this an awesome place to live, and Cape Town knows it and has good nomad infrastructure (wi-fi, coworkings, etc.). It is a perfect tourist / nightlife city; evident at the weekend where hordes of locals and partygoers from the surrounding areas descend on the city centre (bachelor and bachelorettes included). It has probably the best nightlife in the UK, due to the fact the city centre has perfect walkability and the local government has ensured there are ideal pockets of bars and clubs placed optimally around town. I personally think it's a little overrated, but a cool place to visit nonetheless. The architecture is beautiful, and there are lots of good places to eat. I don't like the main area of the canals in the city centre; it smells of weed and is often packed. However, the outer edges - such as the Jordaan district - are less busy and more interesting in my opinion. One thing that surprised me is how much trash was o

But it's beautiful area once you get away from the highways. A good tech scene. Not too expensive (~$2100 for a nice 2 bedroom apt) for the U.S. Has wineries and breweries galore. Not a great place if you are a recovering alcoholic (!). Cons: extremely hot in the summer; reaches 110 F (43.3 C) in summer afternoons from June - September. Not very diverse. Highways are loud and obnoxious.
