  • Buenos Aires

I did not like it. The people are nice though. Palermo Hollywood and Soho are very walkable hipster neighborhoods, kinda remind me of the chill parts of Barcelona. Food is hit or miss. For a country that's known for steak, most steak here is overcooked, low quality meat, without flavor. I heard it was better 10-20 years ago when the cows weren't factory farmed here. Now the free roaming cows are exported to US and Europe, while Argentineans eat the low quality cow meat. The other food than ste

I've been hanging out in Berlin on and off for 30 years. It is very safe for women. It is much friendlier than it used to be. There are loads of vegan restaurants now. The nightlife and specially jazz clubs are amazing! I have an excellent apartment to rent out in Wedding - which used to have a boring reputation but now is very cool.

Was here in Mid-2023. Bali has completely changed from when I last visited in 2017. Full of arrogant influences and degenerate party people who are entitled and have no respect for the locals. Many Uber drivers told me they are starting to get annoyed because a lot of Westerners donโ€™t respect anythingโ€ฆ. Pollution and traffic are on the rise. It is turning into Kuta. I lived in Cairo for one month. The city has some problems with the traffic and poverty. But, the people, are the best that I ever meet (not the sellers). The food is amazing, everything is cheap. the uber is almost for free. The internet have some problems, but it'll depend of the area that you'll live. a lot of people speak English, even the apps have the option to read in English. The city is very safe, even for womans at 2AM on the street. Never, never, and never believe in any seller or an

Nice place to live, but for travel not sure. Things are very expensive if you want to stay in a hotel and eat out most of the time. Price for cafe is not that crazy but still not the reasonable. Not many fun places to go as a traveler. But if you have a place you can cook by yourself, have some friends to hang out, and enjoy simple and quite lifestyle, then I do recommend to come Stockholm. I'm enjoying a peaceful and calm daily life here!

I've been in Cape Town a month. The good: it's gorgeous, great hiking and scenery, wide variety of restaurants at affordable prices, lots of great cheap wine, walkable neighborhoods. The bones are there to make this an awesome place to live, and Cape Town knows it and has good nomad infrastructure (wi-fi, coworkings, etc.). That said, if you're looking to discover Africa, this ain't it. A lot of Cape Town's issues feel very American: inner-city homelessness, gentrification, yawning racial and so

A city in the grip of a financial crisis (Feb 2023), plus other calamities, so requires a bit more effort to do stuff than many places. But IMO worth the effort. You have to carry cash around and lots of bills as worth 1/40th of what they were a few years ago. You can't really use cards anywhere, except dollar ATMs and some supermarkets. Electricity mostly from generators, which have downtime a few hours a day. You need to check the daily hours of supply for the building before booking a place.

Lived in Copenhagen for just under three years, and for the whole time, I have worked remotely as a freelancer. It's pretty much as perfect as you're going to get in terms of urban design; getting around is easy and safe by bike, and the public transport network is efficient and reasonably-priced. Lots of fun things to do for a relatively small city, and the locals areโ€”from personal experienceโ€”incredibly friendly. Pros: - Very safe. You can walk around most areas round-the-clock and not h

How TF is this on Nomadlist? No one in their right mind should live there. In fact, everyone living there is either: Qatari, a desperate immigrant being paid peanuts for a shitty job, or a wealthy expat looking to pay 0% tax. The vibe is strange, like everyone knows everyone else is there for money. I've met some super desperate immigrants who told me horror stories. Please, don't support this place, spend your time and money elsewhere.
