Incredible city for nomads. In autumn/winter you'll have to deal with the cold, but there's still stuff going on. - Using the tram and uber was rare. Stay in Kazimierz or Stare Miasto and you get anywhere interesting in

I cannot help but agree with the review from the person before me. I'm finishing my 3 weeks trip here, and something feels off. Like that person put it rightly, everything is for sale, and nothing has value. There is no soul to this city and its people, locals or otherwise. Something is wrong here.

Stayed for 2 weeks after almost a year n a half in LatAm. Beautiful city; great food options- especially for Asian food lovers. Plenty of authentic Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese options for about 50% of what you would pay in a Western city. Decent hostels will cost $11-$15 weekdays and between $18-$30 on weekends.... Good internet; beautiful architecture and people but it is true Hungarians can be very cold at times. Overall a good stay with many destinations just a quick and cheap flight/tr

Chiang Mai used to be N.1 for the digital nomad life. It is still great and you can find really cheap apartments (300-400$) and restaurants (2-3$ for a main). Wouldn't recommend staying there during the burning season. The best area is Nimman, but it's also the most expensive. You can stay in the old city that's very nice but that gets noisy during the weekend for the night markets. Last but not least, very safe city. All in all would go back in a heartbeat.

Like everywhere, Singapore has pros and cons. // Pros: // Everything works very well, it's clean, you can use the trains and transport system with a bank card, Grab taxis are efficient and safe, the airport is amazing // Everyone speaks English // Population seems well educated and cosmopolitan // There are lots of parks and green spaces. // Cons: // It's very expensive. For what you get it feels overpriced compared to most Western countries for example. // It's hot and very, very humid. Unti

Pros: * Very clean - lots of hand sanitisation places and people wear masks + streets are clean * Great, cheap public transport * Very beautiful city and good parks * Pretty good Italian and asian food Cons: * Coffee shops seem to have mostly gone and been replaced with lots of Starbucks and other chains. * Food / drinks is very expensive in most parts - Local beer is quite cheap though * Barely any night life to speak of - everything closes at 11pm Other Info: COVID restrictions are very stri

Berlin is overall a great city to be. Food is cheap and everywhere, easy to go out and have fun/meet for business. Rent has crept up but still far better value than where I came from. Internet: 36 EUR/month get me 450/40 mbps (cable -> DOCSIS 3.0) Public transport is 2.70 EUR/ticket. No woman I know has said they felt unsafe. Some really odd, xenophobic sounding comments on here. Biggest downsides IMO: service quality at restaurants - not that people are rude, but they don't seem to particular

Easy to find nice apartments. - Very bike-able. - Not too expensive. - Lots of coworking spaces. - Some startup culture and quite a few meetups (pre-pandemic). - Polish women are beautiful. - Interesting history. Pros; - Quiet, safe neighbourhood - Well stocked supermarkets - High speed broadband in my Airbnb - Very hot and sunny days in October / November - Cheap Taxis - Lots of hikes - Legal, cheap cannabis - Access to southern Tenerife for partying Cons; - English is not that great, but can get by. - High humidity and rainfall - Not great social scene - A lot of sub-par restaurants (I recommend 'Vulk' and anything south american) - Boring n

The places to rent are not very good. Poor design and low quality furniture. You won't find one that comes with a good desk and chair. Most of them don't have a good place to put one even if you bring your own. Hard water is common and unpleasant. Can't walk around due to small roads, traffic, sometimes unfriendly stray dogs. It does have good restaurants, lots of variety from many international cuisines. Not that great for Indonesian food though. Probably better for a short visit rather than

Ljubljana (and Slovenia in general) is an AMAZING place. I cannot recommend it enough. All I ask is - please don't write public blogs and make vlogs about it. It is still sort of undiscovered except among Europeans and mostly Italians. Let's try and keep it that way as long as possible.

I quite liked Zagreb. People are fairly warm, and it's charmingly laid out. Lots of good cafes and restaurants, and the center is pretty walkable. As someone else said there are the commie block vibes, but those are in more peripheral neighborhoods. I felt it was safe, and had no issues getting around by tram mostly. Skopje is certainly an interesting place to see, but where you shouldn't spend too much time. You can start here and take a trip around the country, as there are several places worth seeing. The city is safe, the air quality is very low and it does not get too cold in winter (though it does get cold). There isn't much to do, plus I visited the city during the time of the pandemic, which made it worse for socializing. Cheap prices and great Internet connection, even on the road between cities.

Lived there last September and October and am coming back later this year. Yes, it is expensive, but after a while I learned about affordable places to eat and realized I could choose neighborhoods farther from city center, and it would still be nice. City feels super safe, even at nigh! Internet is crazy fast (I got 500mb on my airbnb) there are tons to do and see and I did not encounter the super rude Parisians people talk so much about, mostly everyone spoke English and were very polite. Pretty racist to those that arent white, you feel unwelcome, locals stare at you like your alien, you get served last even when your 1st in line, you get ignored and when you walk into a shop you get followed around because the workers think your going to steal something.
