I just wanna give my opinion about Porto for future residents the best areas in Porto is Near Castelo do Queijo, ( Parish nevogilde) Boavista and Foz near beaches if you wanna live with quality of life in Porto.

Brasov is absolutely beautiful. Not a ton to do socially, and certainly no big nomad community. But the food is amazing, cost of living is cheap, and the parks and mountains surrounding you make it worth visiting! You can literally hike a gorgeous mountain walking about 5 minutes south of the old city center. It's also the most central location to visit nearby castles and national parks. You can buy tickets online and the trains are easy to navigate to get to places like Peles Castle in an hour

I've been hanging out in Berlin on and off for 30 years. It is very safe for women. It is much friendlier than it used to be. There are loads of vegan restaurants now. The nightlife and specially jazz clubs are amazing! I have an excellent apartment to rent out in Wedding - which used to have a boring reputation but now is very cool.

Semiyak was my refuge from the crazy traffic, massive western crowds, mosquito attacks, and inflated prices of Canggu. Seminyak is not 'Balifornia' (Canguu), some will like it for that reason alone. The city is quite pleasant. There are some good streets to walk. It never feels crowded, except the most touristic areas. I quite liked Zagreb. People are fairly warm, and it's charmingly laid out. Lots of good cafes and restaurants, and the center is pretty walkable. The most vietnamese city in Vietnam. The Old Quarter and West Lake are the highlights. If you come, try the egg coffee. Be mindful Vietnam has cracked down on visas, and it is not as friendly to foreigners. I was able to relax after I received a 5-year spousal visa.

Really hard to get a decent price for accomodation. Prices are riddiculous as for Indonesian standards and how much locals earn. New restaurants and buildings popping up taking away rice fields. More and more traffic jams and congestion. Too much influencers vs. too little vibe of authentic Balinese culture.

A pleasant touristy island which is great for hiking and just traveling around on a car. Funchal isn't a modern city but it's walkable and liveable: there are coworking spaces, decent internet and occasionally you can even find filter coffee.

I really liked Chiang Mai but I can't put my finger on why. I'll try to remain unbiased so here goes. Chiang Mai is a dirty place with horrible pollution levels. English speaking is okay. Still an amazing island, with very diverse adctivities, but prices have gone up massively lately due to an influx of European war 'refugees' and the recent growth of the digital nomad scene. If you book in advance, you can still find something affordable but it is rapidly changing and prices are in general very un-Thai like.

Lombok definitely has the most amazing virgin beaches , waterfall, and marine life! Senggigi is just one of its many long white sand beaches and a lot of them are still waiting to be discovered. Not much of a party going on here, but if you are itching for one, just hope to a speed boat for 15 minutes and you will arrive in the wild gili trawangan. I was only staying for 4 days, then I fell in love . Been here for 6 months and counting.
