โจ Recommended destinations they haven't been
This is an algorithmic recommendation based on @wheresfredagain's trips history to find places they haven't been to yet that other people with similar travels also went and liked.
I did not like it. The people are nice though. Palermo Hollywood and Soho are very walkable hipster neighborhoods, kinda remind me of the chill parts of Barcelona. Food is hit or miss. For a country that's known for steak, most steak here is overcooked, low quality meat, without flavor. I heard it was better 10-20 years ago when the cows weren't factory farmed here. Now the free roaming cows are exported to US and Europe, while Argentineans eat the low quality cow meat. The other food than ste

The infrastructure is good. You *should* like it, but you don'tโit's incredibly, incomprehensibly boring. The vibe is aggressively lukewarm. You will find more excitement in a rural Japanese village than hereโI'm not joking.

The city has an active community scene (nomads, spiritual seekers, hikers, creatives), several mountains with hiking spots and waterfalls surrounding the city, over 20 water bodies inside the city -- many have cafes and walks around, several public parks, and over 13 national parks with campgrounds w

I stayed for 7 days and was a little disappointed People are not very friendly, lots os places very dirty, people smoke a lot and the costs isn't affordable as people indicated here. Its a beautiful place, walkable, people have a good level of education, lots of things to do, but not as i imagined. Even so its a nice place.

Itโs just the same overdeveloped and overpriced mentally isolated tourist trap that is Canggu, just a bit worse. If you have never been anywhere else, it might be okay for 2 weeks, but to any seasoned traveller itโs a the type of place you dread.

Never learned Czech, but was fine. Almost all cafes and restaurants have English menus. Superb food delivery apps (Wolt is the best). All the food you can imagine. Vietnamese food is world-class because of the huge Vietnamese population. If you want hipster bars and cafes, there's plenty of that. If you want old-world-charm there's plenty of that. If you want posh luxury there's some of Europes best restaurants and cockta

It's probably the most dangerous city to live in Madrid and one of the most dangerous in europe, with constant pick-pocketing and even violent crimes to get your wallet and phone in certain areas. The 'pandemic' changed many things -- the cost of course, but also the culture -- the freedom and liberty have been contained. The police presence and size of the state have grown -- definitely doesn't feel so relaxed anymore. It's also important to note here -- there is limited ambition. Most are looking for an easy, fun and peaceful life -- which is great, but if you are building something or running a business it can fee

This city doesn't deserve to be ahead of cities like Da Nang or Chiang Mai. Still way to underdeveloped. Yes a lot of coffees for wifi but dirty and overall not great conditions for nomads. You'll not find almost any nomads there. I would skip it.

Lived here for over a year, but I only recommend short visits. Contrary to what you hear, there is plenty of crime in parts of Dubai. Talking about that crime is considered taboo and, in many cases, is illegal. Sexual assault and gang violence against expats took place just outside my building, to people who lived in my building. I went to the police station a few times, but the issue was never handled and no arrests were ever made. I have videos of (unspecified) crimes taking place here, but

There seems to be a tacit rent floor that means you won't find a good deal on housing. A lot of people don't seem very invested in their interpersonal relationships here since their ties to the area are often transient.

I personally think it's a little overrated, but a cool place to visit nonetheless. The architecture is beautiful, and there are lots of good places to eat. I don't like the main area of the canals in the city centre; it smells of weed and is often packed. However, the outer edges - such as the Jordaan district - are less busy and more interesting in my opinion. One thing that surprised me is how much trash was o

The good: it's gorgeous, great hiking and scenery, wide variety of restaurants at affordable prices, lots of great cheap wine, walkable neighborhoods. The bones are there to make this an awesome place to live, and Cape Town knows it and has good nomad infrastructure (wi-fi, coworkings, etc.). That said, if you're looking to discover Africa, this ain't it. A lot of Cape Town's issues feel very American: inner-city homelessness, gentrification, yawning racial and so
