Great place for Digital Nomads :) Fast internet, many Co-working spaces and beautiful views around - rice fields, jungle, palms :) Oh, yeah! One of the best place in the World to work remotely!

My opinion to this person is: - Please go home and be happy and cheerful! Donโt live at โmiserable and depressed (โฆ) populationโ home. - If youโre only use to eat potatoes + burgers, us, as the rest of the world, we have that too. - Please post your photo, so Portuguese women know from whom they must running from. โPros: - Plenty of great co-working spaces - Lots of digital nomads - Meetups, tech and crypto conferences Cons: - Everything is severely overpriced from food to rents (

Just returned to Europe from spending three weeks in Canggu and I can definitely not recommend it. It has changed a lot from the past but to sum it up here are some points: Pros: - high level of convenience - lots of places to eat (for vegans too) - plenty to do Cons - hygiene is bad - crowded as fuck - polluted as hell (air quality is bad) Wouldn't recommend coming here for longer. If you want to see, spend a couple of days here but explore other parts of Bali to get the chill vibe and some

I've been hanging out in Berlin on and off for 30 years. It is very safe for women. It is much friendlier than it used to be. There are loads of vegan restaurants now. The nightlife and specially jazz clubs are amazing! I have an excellent apartment to rent out in Wedding - which used to have a boring reputation but now is very cool.

Spent two weeks there and honestly I wish I had planned to stay longer. I donโt know why it says the internet is bad. My airbnb had a very fast wifi of almost 100GB. Also, buying a sim card is really cheap, I paid 150k vnd (around 6 dollars) for 180GB. The city had lots of cafes, amazing local & international restaurantes (more international restaurants than Hanoi). The beach is not so pretty, but great for walks, and grabbing a drink. At night the vibe is really nice by the beach. Overall i h

Just arrived in KL, we are 30/35yrs+, a married couple and digital nomads, and wow.. What a city! This is the New York City of Asia. These appartments are epic. Grand views, very affordable, luxurious! You would pay 10-fold for the same deal in NYC or Tokyo or Dubai. And the food is fantastic. Indian, Malay, Indo, Chinese, American, European. The world is here!

Tokyo has so much to offer and so much to do. It is easily overwhelming. Whereas I usually take my first week to explore a place Tokyoโs sights just kept on going. I remember ending up in a hidden cocktail bar, a mexican rooftop party with 1 meter margaritas, spending a whole day going only to French places(?), visiting a store that only imported 2nd hand hiphop apparel, and throughout it all the best michelin star ramen. It just seemed endless, completely unrelated and incredibly fun. Six wee

There's no reason to live in this city. I spent a year here. The weather is not even a bit nicer compared to central-eastern Europe. Maybe when it's -4 degrees in Budapest, it's +1 in Barcelona. That's just as cold. And the insulation in apartments is practically non-existent, as well as AC and heating. If there's heating in an apartment, using it for like 3 hours/day would cost $100 a month. Speaking of apartments, pricing is ridiculous. $1500 + utilities for a 2 bedroom in a neighborhood where

If you're physically active, CM is paradise 9 months out the year. Like many, I live here, but fly to Phuket from Mid Feb to Mid May to escape the burning season. The rest of the year, the weather is fine: about 1h of strong rain a day from May to September, then September to December is awesome with cold air in the morning and evenings, and just right warm during the day. In CM, you have unlimited landscape for: Trekking, Mountain Biking, Cycling, Road Trips on scooter or motorcycle (some of

Stayed here for a month. It reminds me of a less-developed Bangkok. Although there are a lot of high-rise buildings being built at the moment. Very cheap place compared to lots of places in Asia however it's one of the most expensive places in Vietnam. I wouldn't stay here long term, good for a month but was ready to move on. Pros: - Cheap city - Has lots of bars and restaurants - Has some good day trips and activities - Safe - Very cheap Ubers Cons: - Can be extremely hot during the day which

Phu Quoc takes a bit of effort to get the best out of. It's very resorty and there's some horrific tourist hellholes like 'Grandworld' which is an imitation world that is monstrously large and destroying the island. However, there are some really good restaurants. Inland you can find some nice hiking spots and viewpoints (they're not easy to find). The waterfalls are nice if you hike further up them away from the piles of trash left by the locals. We stayed at Phu Quoc ecolodge which was stun

Sitting here laughing out loud at these "been here a few week" reviews where supposedly they could tell it all. You guys obviously don't know the right places, you probably ended up around lower Sukhumvit (with all the mention about hookers and lbs). Don't listen to any of this. I've lived around SEA for 10+ years. Nearly 8 of them in Bangkok. There is a reason I keep coming back. Taipei offers a great value because for far east Asia, itโs quite cheap compared to Korea or Japan. Very pretty historical city. A typical meal is usually 200 which is around $6.50 but you can easily get street food for much cheaper. I stayed for 5 weeks. Pros: extremely safe and clean Friendly locals Lots of Chinese culture - like day trips into tea fields Great tea! People spoke some English Fast wifi Clean air Lots of street food Incredible transportation - so easy to get around

The Middle Ages meet industrial-age pollution: this is a grimy tropical backwater with none of Taipei's vibrancy, efficiency or even politeness. Cycle or hike in the quote-unquote national park north of the city for marshes, dengue fever, junkyards, stray dogs, and massive concrete jetties obstructing ocean views.
