I lived in Brno for 6 months and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It's a small city with nothing to do for expats. There are a few cafés and some nice bars but nothing really special plus. I really don't mean to be rude but Czech people are no fun. It's just...boring and dull. Generally speaking people here, even millennials, don't speak English. Boring :-( Here for 2.5 months in summer. Puerto was supposed to be a nomad city, but I can't seem to meet them. Just 1-2 meetups that only 5+ people come to. A lot of lower middle class tourists. Santa Cruz has more to offer. La Laguna is nice for a day trip, but kinda dead too. Yes, there's beautiful nature and hikes, but people/community/city-wise not impressed at all.

I stayed in Poblenou, which is a really chill upcoming area outside of the tourism of Barcelona. Really enjoyed it. Very tranquil. People were relatively friendly compared to most in Europe and there was lots of nice food and coffee places. Also pretty okay gyms. Really enjoyed Barcelona this time! Just make sure you stay outside the tourist areas.

Spent two weeks there and honestly I wish I had planned to stay longer. I don’t know why it says the internet is bad. My airbnb had a very fast wifi of almost 100GB. Also, buying a sim card is really cheap, I paid 150k vnd (around 6 dollars) for 180GB. Really enjoyed my time here. Stunningly beautiful island. Like the previous reviewer, I would also take my scooter and just bounce around the island, just to enjoy the landscape. Getting around by scooter is an absolute necessity on Ko Pha Ngan - it’s just not viable to walk or take taxis everywhere. Doha is livable for sure, pricier than other nomad destinations. Kind of need to really look to find decent places to live at decent prices. But I'll hand it to Doha, very safe city even at night. For the most part Doha is an expat city, hardly any actual Qatari citizens. As with being well developed, wifi speeds are nothing to complain about but it also can depend on your host.
